ABOUT THE EVENT
Spend the day with us at the Pleasant Beach Lodge, a historic spot where people have been surfing since the 1960s. There will be water time, surfing/paddling (condition dependent), community eats, bon fires, surf stories, surf and paddle mentoring, board demos, karma classes, vendors, gear swap and sale, kids beach clean up, and friendly encouragement with each other! Children, spouses and partners are all welcome and is completely FREE to attend. Come for the whole weekend, or just for the day - whatever is best for you!
SATURDAY OCT 5 SCHEDULE
8:30AM - Vendor and Organizer set up
9:00 - 9:45AM - Arrive, unload boards, registration, toque pick up.
10:00AM - Official Kick Off and Annual Group Photo
10:30 - 11:30AM - Beach Clean Up
11:30 - 2:45PM - Free time! Surf, paddle to shipwreck, skate, hang out!
3:00PM - Beach Yoga with @freeflowyoga
4:00PM - Meet back at Lodge for Raffle
4:30PM - Daytime Activities End
7:00PM - Attack Rabbit Band at Lodge and Party!
ALL DAY - Vendors, demos, marketplace, raffle sales, skateboarding, swimming, surfing, paddling, beach fun!
WHAT ARE THE ACTIVITIES?
You can mostly expect a laid back beach day and camp style setting. Activities include:
Swimming
Surfing (if conditions permit) or flat water paddling
Hang out with new and old surf friends!
Raffles and prizes
Skateboarding
Board demos
Kids beach clean up
Community food table
Buy/Sell Marketplace - used gear
Local vendors
Local Fort Erie band Attack Rabbit at 7PM for evening party and fun
Bonfire
