Why Swap?
Joining the Swap is a fun and sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe and gear without spending money or creating waste. By trading pieces you no longer wear or use for something new-to-you, you’re not only giving your stuff a second life, you’re also helping reduce textile waste and supporting a more eco-friendly, community-driven lifestyle. It’s a win for your closet, your wallet, and the planet!
How does it work?

KC Neri
LS Community Member
Hi everyone, I’m KC and one of the newest members of the Lake Surfista group! I have many hobbies like surfing and volleyball to name a few, and I love to go on extreme adventures as a thrill-seeker. One fun fact about me is that I first learned surfing in Peru by accident and throughout my stay, got to surf at the longest left wave in the world at Chicama (and yes as a kook, not recommended haha)!

Tammy Rogers
1st Woman to Represent Canada in Women’s Surfing - ISA 1992
Born and raised on the East Coast, I always dreamed of becoming a surfer. That dream took an unexpected turn in university, when I went from “kook” to “champion” in the same year. After a lengthy hiatus, and after meeting the Lake Surfistas, I am once again enjoying surfing in my mid-life.
